When in pregnancy is it safe to have a spa treatment?

Whilst its pretty much safe to have most treatments through out any time of pregnancy, we recommend not to have a massage during your first trimester. Usually during the first 3 months you might not feel at your best. The second trimester is  when, hopefully, any pregnancy sickness if any has stopped and you generally have more energy. So this could possibly be the optimum time for spoiling yourself and having some pamper time.

What spa treatments should I avoid in pregnancy?

Avoid any Heat treatments or the risk of over heating in pregnancy. So stay away from steam rooms, hot tubs, saunas or any type of heat treatment at any stage of pregnancy. Pampering for mum to be is beneficial & highly recommened.
